Teens Who Tried Carjacking Bentley In Edison Arrested

Two of three suspects in an attempted carjacking in Edison have been arrested, authorities said.

Edison Mayor Sam Joshi said that a 16-year-old and 17-year-old had been arrested. The mayor thanked local police as well as NJ Transit and Rahway police.

The attempted carjacking of a Bentley SUV occurred outside Patel Brothers grocery store on Oak Tree Road at about 5 p.m. on Friday, March 15.

The driver had the key fob in his pocket, so the teens were unable to steal the SUV.
